Your data
Privacy policy
We run a simple, static website. We don't sell your data, we don't build advertising profiles, and we ask for as little as possible.
What information we collect
Trusted Health Insight is a static website. We do not have user accounts, we do not run a comments section, and we do not ask you to submit personal information to read anything on this site.
- Server logs. Like nearly every website, our web host automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamp. This is used for security and to understand which articles are being read.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply. We don't add you to any list and we don't sell it.
We do not collect health information about you. We don't ask your weight, your diet, or your medical history — and you should not send it to us.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or profiling cookies of its own.
However, when you click an affiliate link and leave our site, the merchant or their affiliate network may set a cookie on your browser. That cookie is how they know the visit came from us, and it is what allows a commission to be credited if you buy something. Those cookies are governed by the privacy policy of the merchant and their network, not by ours.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to read anything on this site.
How affiliate tracking works
In plain language: when you click a product link here, you're passed to the merchant's site with a code that identifies us as the referrer. If you then buy, the merchant pays us a commission.
We do not receive your name, your address, your payment details, or any other personal information from the merchant. We may see anonymous, aggregate reporting — for example, the number of clicks and sales, without any identity attached.
Full detail on the commercial side of this is in our affiliate disclosure.
Third parties
We keep third parties to a minimum. This site loads no external fonts, no external scripts, and no advertising networks. Images and stylesheets are served from our own domain.
Our web host processes server logs on our behalf. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page before doing so.
When you follow a link to an external site — a study on PubMed, the Mayo Clinic, or a merchant — you are subject to that site's privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for the practices of sites we link to.
Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
We do not sell personal information, and we never have. For California residents, that means there is nothing to opt out of under the CCPA's "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" right — but you're welcome to contact us to confirm.
In practice there is very little to exercise these rights against: this is a static site with no accounts, no newsletter, and no contact form, so we hold no database of readers. To make a request in writing, use the contact route in the section below, and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Nothing on this site should be used to guide the diet of a child or adolescent. That's a conversation for a pediatrician.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data — for instance, if we add analytics or an email newsletter — we will update this page and change the date below. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
Contact us
A dedicated privacy contact address is being set up and will be published here. Until it is live, please note that this site collects no personal data: there are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, and no analytics scripts, so there is nothing held about you to access, correct, or delete.
For anything relating to a product mentioned on this site — orders, ingredients, refunds, or the data that company holds about you — contact that manufacturer directly. We are an independent publisher and have no access to their systems. See who to contact.
